Hi! I'm so glad you're here. I know finding a therapist can be difficult, and finding the right one can be even harder. I've been through that experience myself. You want a therapist who is warm, gentle, and makes you feel heard and understood, but most importantly, someone who won't judge you. A therapist that gives you space to express yourself without fear of what may come next.
Through warmth and authenticity I will give you the space you need to explore your thoughts and emotions. And when you're ready, we will focus on healing. As a licensed professional counselor with specialized training in infertility and perinatal mental health, along with personal experience, I understand how overwhelming this journey can be. Together, we will navigate the challenges that brought you here and develop strategies to help bring you relief.

Professional Experience
I am a first generation, bilingual (Spanish/English) Latina clinician with a diverse clinical background. I began my career working with victims of crime, survivors of domestic violence, immigrant teens, and women in an immigration detention center. In addition to my role at a private practice specializing in perinatal mental health, I have also worked as a group therapist at a behavioral health hospital and as an intake coordinator at an eating disorder treatment center. While I have experience working with children and adults dealing with challenges such as stress, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and grief, my primary focus and expertise lie in perinatal mental health and trauma. My compassionate, relational approach to therapy allows me to create a space of comfort, safety, and understanding. I would be honored to support you on your journey towards healing.
Fun Facts
I am a newly divorced single parent to two wonderful children, whom I currently homeschool. I'm also the proud parent of a goldendoodle named Phoenix and a chihuahua named Perls. I have a bit of a Hello Kitty obsession, and in my free time, I enjoy playing video games, coloring, dancing, watching documentaries, and spending weekends at the beach. My goal in life is to read all the books I have accumulated over the years that have yet to be opened.
Education
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and in EMDR therapy through EMDRIA.
